Ride the bus? Your Voice Matters: Provide feedback via Survey
A Comprehensive Service Analysis (CSA) is now underway, led by WRTA with support from MassDOT. This initiative will assess the current fixed-route transit system, gather input from the community, and help shape a long-term vision for improved service.

WRTA comprehensive-service analysis information
This study will analyze existing conditions of the fixed route system, solicit significant public feedback, and prepare a vision for the future of WRTA fixed route services. In the coming months, the focus will be on analyzing existing conditions and engaging the public through outreach efforts such as stakeholder sessions.
Two separate 8-hour drop-in sessions at the WRTA Central Hub are planned for September 17, 2025 and September 18, 2025 from 9am-5pm. In addition to the sessions, a survey is being launched on September 1, 2025. It is anticipated that the CSA will be completed by the Summer 2026.
This study is a critical initiative for WRTA, as it will help shape the future vision of our fixed-route services. The outcomes may include enhancements such as improving route legibility, updated service hours, changes in service frequency, and the introduction of new options like crosstown or limited-stop routes. To maximize community engagement, the WRTA Administration is committed to a robust outreach effort—promoting the survey, encouraging public participation, and offering up-to-date project information through our website.
