CURRENT LIBRARY SERVICES (UPDATED 5/31//2021)

As of Tuesday, June 1 the Library will no longer require patrons to schedule appointments for any library services. Patrons will be free to browse, pickup, copy, print, fax, and use computers during the following hours:
Tuesday | 3pm – 7pm
Wednesday | 12pm – 4pm
Thursday | 3pm – 7pm
Friday | 12pm – 4pm
The Library will continue to be CLOSED on Saturdays until after Labor Day.
Per the CDC and Massachusetts Department of Public Health advisory, patrons are advised to continue to wear a mask while inside the Library building.
If a private appointment is required, please speak with a Library staff member.
"Curbside" Pick-Up: Pick-up times will be Tuesday & Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday & Friday from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. Appointments are scheduled in 15-minute increments. Materials will be picked up in the library foyer, just inside the front door. On the day of your pick-up, the items will be checked out to you, put in a bag with your last name on it, and placed on the table in the foyer.
Private In-Library Browsing: Designated private browsing times be Tuesday & Thursday from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. and Wednesday & Friday from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m. Appointments are scheduled in 30-minute increments. Please call or email the library to set up a private in-library appointment for browsing; your scheduled time may also be used for computer time, copying, faxing, and printing.
The Brookfield Merrick Public Library is located at the corner of Lincoln and Common Streets bordering the Brookfield Common.
