The WRTA Advisory Board is reaching out to communities served by WRTA fixed route services for their interest in appointing a representative from your community to serve as “Rider Community Population” also known as a Rider’s Rep. This position is separate from any currently attending town representative presently on our Advisory Board.
The Rider’s Rep. is selected through the appointment process of the town/city in which they reside. The position is filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. The date of the response will determine which appointee fills the vacancy. All other applicants will be placed in a queue for consideration and selected in the order of which their application was received. Please note that the Rider’s Rep. position cannot be filled by the same town/city that currently has the “Disables Commuter Population” position.
The deadline for responses is October 17, 2026
