Brookfield Board of Health – Open Seat
The Brookfield Board of Health currently has an opening and is looking for a resident interested in serving the town.
The Board of Health works to protect public health and safety in Brookfield. Current responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the transfer station
- Managing bathing beach permits and water quality
- Addressing local public health concerns and environmental issues
- Collaborating with the Leicester Regional Public Health Coalition (which currently handles food service permitting and Title 5/septic work on behalf of the town)
The Select Board will be involved in the process and make the appointment.
