Resident Meeting: ADA Sidewalk Ramp Improvement Project

We welcome you to meet with the project engineer, town officials and a representative from the Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission to hear about the proposed improvements included in the ADA Sidewalk Ramp Improvement Project. The meeting will be conducted in person during the Select Board’s meeting on July 16, 2026. This will be the final public meeting prior to the start of construction.

Construction will soon be underway for the ADA Sidewalk Ramp Improvement Project. The project is tentatively scheduled to begin in late summer 2026. The project will result in the installation of approximately 30 ADA-compliant sidewalk ramps located in Brookfield town center. The project is being funded through the FY2022/23 Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities, Community Development Block grant program (CDBG), with the assistance of the Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission and Weston & Sampson Engineers.
