A Little Bit About the Brookfield Community Club
Since 1979, the Brookfield Community Club has organized the Annual Apple Country Fair. Through the generosity of our volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and attendees, proceeds from the fair have funded numerous community projects and programs throughout Brookfield, including:
- Supplies for Brookfield’s annual Christmas Eve Luminary Display
- Programs and guest speakers for the Brookfield Council on Aging
- Sixth-grade sweatshirts for Brookfield Elementary School students
- Equipment for the Brookfield Fire Department and EMS
- Improvements to Lewis Field through Brookfield Recreation
- Equipment and supplies for Brookfield Scout Troops
- Programs and activities at the Merrick Public Library
- The Diane Martell Community Service Award for a graduating Brookfield senior
These are just a few examples of the many ways Apple Country Fair proceeds have been reinvested in our community.
