DESCRIPTION:Instructor: Melanie Silva \nIt doesn’t matter your level of mobility. Melanie will adapt for you to be able to join the group. You only do what YOU can do. Her high spirit and wonderful understanding will help guide you. It can be as challenging as you want it to be. A body in motion stays in motion. \nThis program is for both men and women. Exercise helps your coordination\, balance\, and strength. Doing it with others gives you the boost you need to get out and socialize while gaining the benefits of exercise. \nAll you have to do is show up in comfortable clothes and sneakers or sturdy shoes to exercise in. The class is free. Currently we do not have transportation to the program. But maybe in the future we can remedy that. Until then\, check with a friend. We hope you can come.

DESCRIPTION:Notice of Upcoming Brookfield Town Center Study Site Visits\n\nThe Town of Brookfield and the Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission (CMRPC) are conducting the Brookfield Town Center Study. The study will identify ways to support the town center’s businesses\, public spaces\, accessibility\, walkability\, and historic character.\n\nAs part of this work\, CMRPC staff will conduct two related site visits:\n\n\n\nGuided walking tour: Monday\, September 21\, 2026\, at noon:** CMRPC staff and town representatives will walk through the town center to discuss local conditions\, important sites\, and connections between Central Street\, the Town Common\, Prouty Street\, and Lewis Field.\n\n\n\n\n\nDetailed site assessment: anticipated Tuesday\, September 29\, 2026:** CMRPC staff will observe building exteriors and public spaces\, take ground-level photographs\, and may collect drone imagery. Wednesday\, September 30\, may be used as a weather or scheduling backup date.\n\n\n\nThe site assessment will be conducted from public streets\, sidewalks\, and other publicly accessible areas. No interior inspections or entry onto private property are planned.\n\nThis work is part of a planning study\, not a code-enforcement or building-inspection activity.
