What to do if you think you or someone you know may have a communicable disease?

If you think you or someone you know may have a communicable disease, you should contact your health care provider right away. Your health care provider will be able to give you information regarding the condition and guidance for steps to follow to prevent, diagnose, or treat an infection, if necessary.
